During the Christmas season we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thinking back to my childhood, I remember that Christmas to me was a lot about Santa Claus and presents. There is such a deeper meaning to this Christamas season. I have come to know that the greatest gift that we have been given is the Atonement performed by our Savior Jesus Christ. Not only does it allow us to repent of our sins, but it also helps us to overcome any weaknesses, shortcomings, trials, pains, or sicknesses that we encounter in this life. I know that the Atonement is there, and that it can help anyone of us. I also know that the Atonement sets the foundation of the Plan that our Father in Heaven has for us to return to him and live in his presence eternally with our families and loved ones.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen
The purpose of this blog is to help invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy ghost and enduring to the end. As an online missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have the opportunity to share my testimony of Christ through this blog.
